	ACTIVITIES AREA OF ART Every year the school presents students with the work of an Argentinean painter and, with the guidance of the art teacher, they recreate the artist’s style and themes. In that way they acquire not only the knowledge about the pictorial production of great national artists, but also the capacity to value these artistic expressions and to develop critical judgement in the face of the diversity of styles and works of art. Some of the painters on whose work students have focused are: • Benito Quinquela Martín • Raúl Soldi • Fernando Fader • Antonio Berni • Xul Solar • Emilio Pettoruti • Pérez Celis • Mario Mollari AREA OF MUSIC Music is another means of expression, through the voice, the body and the percussion, string or wind instruments. Patriotic songs, folklore songs, songs for children and national rock songs make up the songbook that students help enlarge and enrich every year. School song lyrics, the story of its creation, etc. INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY AREA Work in this area focuses on two aspects: • The knowledge of hardware and Office tools • The use of the information technology tools and knowledge to: • Look for information • Record and organize information • Solve problems in the different areas. Activities are also planned from this area and become integrated into Fairs and Exhibitions involving the whole school and open to families.
